Program Manager, Real Estate and Construction Management and help shape the future of healthcare where you'll be an integral part of our
Facilities team, helping to strive for excellence while we serve our member health with dignity, respecting the value and needs of each of our members through collaboration with our providers, community partners and local stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting and tracking oversight of CalOptima Health's real estate and construction throughout the project lifecycle. You will also codify, track and report on building construction and capital improvement projects that are partially or fully funded by CalOptima Health. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable health system.
Your Contributions To the Team: - 85% - Program Support
- Participates in CalOptima Health's real estate initiatives and project management, including proposal review, developing scopes of work, site visits and other real estate related activities.
- Ensures that the quality and timeline of CalOptima Health's initiatives and project requirements meet operational and organizational needs.
- Coordinates with project managers and contractors to monitor and report on construction and capital improvement projects, ensuring they are tracked for completion and are within contractual scope and expenditure guidelines.
- Provides project and financial controls in evaluating and tracking expenditures, providing compliance oversight and effective communication in a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary capacity.
- Conducts routine monitoring and on-site visits of construction and capital improvement projects.
- Tracks construction and capital improvement projects of varied scale.
- Builds relationships with all stakeholders and ensures collaboration on projects.
- Plans, develops and writes comprehensive scopes of work for various public sector projects, from initial concept to final delivery. This includes collaborating with subject matter experts to gather technical requirements and translating complex information clearly for both internal and external stakeholders.
- 10% - Administrative Support
- Participates in a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, collaboration, dignity and accountability.
- Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
- 5% - Other
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
Do You Have What the Role Requires? - Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting-finance, real estate or a related field PLUS 3 years in construction management, project financial controls, real estate asset management or property/facilities management with increasing levels of responsibility required; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying.
You'll Stand Out More If You Possess the Following: - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM).
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA).
- 5 years of experience and understanding of financial and nonfinancial data and the integration of information for real estate and facilities development, construction, property management and related transactions.

- Our current hiring range is: Pay Grade: 311 - $77,863 - $124,581 ($37.43 - $59.8947). The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
