Full-time position available with the Municipal Court Department, Court Support Division located at 511 E 11th Street
Salary Range: $19.27-$29.39/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Responds to court information requests, processes court continuances and other actions.
- Applies the rules provided by the court.
- Works professionally with judges, courtroom staff, and other court divisions.
- Works in a call center environment.
- Provides information on calls for internal and external customers regarding violations of municipal ordinances and traffic violations.
- Exercises considerable judgment in interpreting court records.
- Possesses strong computer skills and able to utilize several computer programs.
- Generates, completes, and closes service requests.
- Sorts and disburses of daily incoming mail.
- Maintains the court email box to ensure customer service.
- Transmits compliance information and records revisions to local and state departments and revenue to reinstate the driver's license when suspended.
- Assists when needed with court records requests.
- Assists in the Administration of the Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court communication operations, providing support and input when engaged.
- Exercises discretion while performing daily tasks.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of court functions and procedures and operational issues.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets information.
- Possesses good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Completes other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation and 3 years of public or private sector experience in customer service work at the level of Customer Service Representative or higher; OR an equivalent combination of education and responsible customer service experience at the level of Customer Service Representative or higher.

Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED certificate must be obtained from a school/program accredited by the Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
