Position Description
A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.
Major/Essential Functions- Collaborate with LVNs, RNs, physicians, and physician assistants to support patient care
- Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable experience
- Perform patient triage, assessing urgency and clinical needs
- Record vital signs and obtain brief medical history for provider review
- Administer oral and injectable medications as prescribed by the physician
Required Qualifications
Nursing Asst:A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a nursing assistant training course or six months experience as a nursing assistant.
Medical Asst:
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an approved certified program for assistants in the area of required specialty. Certification by an approved accredited certifying agency in the specialty in which the particular work will be performed.
