Executive Administrative Analyst will manage special and/or sensitive projects and perform complex and specialized analysis related to policies and processes that have countywide impact. This position reports to a Deputy Executive Officer (DEO):
- Leading projects and initiatives related to the Capital Improvement Projects and Operations of multiple departments.
- Reviewing project proposals, cost estimates and scope of work to ensure alignment with County vision and leadership goals.
- Assisting in the preparation, analysis and review of reports and recommendations to be presented to the AEO.
- Planning, organizing, assisting and/or participating in complex, sensitive, and detailed project management work; assisting in the preparation of correspondence and reports using independent judgment in content and style.
- Assessing and streamlining processes and policies to drive efficiency improvements.
- Managing special projects and leading countywide initiatives.
- Writing and reviewing Board Agenda Items and contracts before final submission to the Board.
- Assisting the DEO and AEO in preparing for, and attending Board meetings; representing the county at various community and regional meetings.

SALARY AND BENEFITS This position offers a competitive salary range of $105,996.80 - $151,424.00 annually depending on qualifications 3% Annual Across the Board Salary Increases on February 2025*
Bi-annual step increases of 2.5% up to Step 16**
*Salary increases contingent upon assessed values for prior fiscal year

Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architect, Project or Construction Management, Public/Business Administration, or other relevant field.
Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience managing Capital Improvement Projects or performing complex and specialized analysis.
Applicants with an equivalent combination of education and experience commensurate with the responsibilities of the position
may be considered.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will:- Have an understanding of principals and practices of project management.
- The ability to assess and improve efficiency of department using independent judgment and personal initiative.
- Have an understanding of contracts, including interpretation, application and enforcement.
- Have experience leading and coordinating projects and initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to make wise decisions and provide sound recommendations.
- Able to handle multiple projects, adapt to change and lead and promote successful collaboration to achieve desired outcomes.
- The ability to establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
PMP Certification is highly desirable.
