    The Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) Finance Division has one Senior Accountant I vacancy. The position is located at 221 N. Figueroa st., Suite 200, Figueroa Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Two years of professional accounting or auditing experience with the City of Los Angeles in a class at least at the level of Accountant.
    The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Accountant I position may include, but are not limited to:

    • Prepare & submit quarterly reports to CDE & CDSS for child care programs
    • Review monthly reports to LA County for JJCP and to EWDD for CA for All grants


    • Prepare annual Single Audit reports for child care programs


    • Reconcile financial worksheets for all programs
    • Prepare annual GAAP reports


    • Review & approve FMS documents
    • Prepare FMS documents as needed
    • Assist with other grant-related assignments as needed

    Angeles Fire & Police Pensions and the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System).
