A day in the life: - Partners with cities, counties, and other organizations involved with transportation to address the needs of Missourians.
- Develops and delivers programs including identifying, prioritizing and constructing transportation improvements.
- Oversees district work plan and budget.
- Improves safety for customers and employees using our transportation facilities.
- Responds to public, legislators, community leaders, and city/county officials on transportation needs and operations.
What you'll need for success: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university curriculum.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri
- Over nine years of experience in highway or transportation engineering.
- Over five years of progressively responsible management experience.
Special working conditions and job characteristics: - Job requires regular, statewide, overnight travel.
