Why DMH: The Missouri Department of Mental Health is dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and public understanding of mental illness, substance use and developmental disabilities. This position is within the Division of Administrative Services where you’ll manage and administer contracts that supports our sister divisions who run programs of mental illness, substance use and developmental disabilities, so individuals have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, live their lives to the fullest, and to be a valued member of their communities.

This position is responsible for the purchase of products and services needed by DMH divisions and facilities to help them better serve their customers.
- Manage the complete solicitation process from issuance to award, ensuring an open and fair procurement process.
- Evaluate bids to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Manage and/or assist in managing evaluation committee to ensure a professional, impartial evaluation.
- Maintain contract information in procurement databases, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Manage contracts and work with program staff throughout a contract’s life cycle.
- Maintain complete and accurate contract files.
- Assist program staff in the development of a contract scope of work.
• Work interactively with other DMH staff and other agency personnel.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years relevant experience
