This position will be located at 1730 East Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO.

  • Prepare quarterly program billing for the Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup, Superfund, and Federal Facilities sections. Generate and approve invoices ensuring compliance with procedures, regulations, and fiscal requirements.
  • Monitor for sites billed, ensuring payments are received.
  • Prepare responses to Division and Department requests regarding billing and projections.
  • Process and track refunds from the Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup section to participants for closed sites.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related field. (Substitutions may be allowed.)


Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to interpret state and federal statutes and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Skill in the analysis, evaluation, interpretation, and understanding of data.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office, such as Excel.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
