POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
The mission of the Construction and Building Maintenance Department is to maintain the districts’ buildings to provide a safe, positive, and appealing learning environment. The Maintenance Technician II will perform a full range of maintenance functions necessary to ensure a safe, supportive campus environment, and to support the Butte College mission of student success. The Maintenance Technician II performs journey level duties in the maintenance, repair and remodeling of buildings and equipment at Butte College's main campus and four satellite campuses.

The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off.
