Librarian V (Regional Branch Manager)

Summary

This position is assigned to the Kapolei Public Library. The Librarian V oversees a staff
of twenty-three (23) full-time employees.
The primary function of the position is to be responsible for the overall operation
and facilities maintenance of the library. Major duties and responsibilities include the
oversight of administrative functions (personnel, facility and grounds, library budget),
reference and readers advisory services, collection development, community relations
and programming, as well as other duties as required or assigned.
The Librarian V also provides regional support to smaller and mid-sized libraries
in the area and maintains close contact with support offices and other regional libraries.
Additionally, the incumbent to this position must be available to work shifts,
evenings, holidays, weekends and is subject to reassignment to other HSPLS libraries
as scheduled and/or based on operational needs.
