Prevents potential accidents by ensuring adherence to policies and program standards of the Double JJ Resort.**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Enforces slide rules according to Double JJ policies and safety procedures.* Provides supervision for slide area, including the top of slide and the designated slide catch pool.* Monitor all slide participants to ensure safety.* Communicate with slide attendant at the bottom of the slide to ensure safety of slide participants.* Remain in position at slide during operation.* Perform opening and closing procedures, pre- and post-shift checks.* Always presents a professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.* Communicate any and all safety issues to the proper supervisor.* Cleaning duties while on shift, including picking up trash, sweeping, scrubbing, and cleaning surfaces, picking up tubes, and other miscellaneous cleaning tasks.* Customer service duties include checking in of guests, waiver verification, selling retail items, and operating the cash register.* Other duties as assigned* Directly reports to the Aquatics Manager.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Must be at least 15 years of age.* Must be able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, to members and staff with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.* Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations, and apply appropriate policies and procedures.* Basic math skills including proper handling of cash.* Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.* MUST have open availability and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
