Summary
Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent
Location: Travel-based (project assignments) - Mostly throughout the Mountain states
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Per Diem + Bonus + Full Benefits

This established commercial general contractor employs around 100 people and maintains an active project pipeline across retail centers, bank branches, restaurants, and office buildings in. Typical project values range from $5M to $30M.

Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day field operations on commercial jobs valued between $5M and $30M, including subcontractor scheduling and coordination
- Collaborate with the broader project team on scope review, site logistics planning, and safety compliance
- Track construction progress against both timeline and budget targets
- Act as the primary on-site contact to keep client relationships strong throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Superintendent in construction
- Hands-on ground-up experience with commercial builds such as banks, retail spaces, restaurants, or office buildings
- Strong ability to plan ahead and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Clear, effective communicator both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working independently and leading a field crew without close oversight
- Able to travel to job sites regularly, with trips home every 2–3 weeks
