Summary
Surveillance Technician
The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of surveillance equipment and systems throughout the property. This position ensures the integrity and reliability of all surveillance technology in compliance with the company standards and gaming regulations.
Working closely with the Surveillance Operations, Security, Information Technology, and Engineering teams, the Surveillance Technician plays a critical role in safeguarding company assets and supporting operational excellence.
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
- Ability to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens
- Physical ability to climb, crawl, and maneuver in tightly cramped areas without fear of height.
- Install, configure, maintain, and repair surveillance cameras, recorders, workstations, monitors, storage devices, and related equipment.
- Must have a solid electronics aptitude.
What You Will Need
- Minimum of two years' experience with the installation and maintenance of Cloud-Circuit Television systems or similar equipment installation, including but not limited to Pan and tilt motorized mechanisms, video cameras, video cassette recorders, and matrix switching units.
- Minimum 21 years old
- Ability to obtain and maintain Mississippi Gaming Permit
- Possess the ability to remain and respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
- Must be able to tolerate area containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Strong communication skills
