Job Summary:
This role involves meticulously reviewing flagged transactions and alerts to identify potential fraud and protect against financial losses. You will be responsible for verifying suspicious activity through customer contact and initiating necessary dispute claims. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, adherence to procedures, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze transaction alerts for suspicious patterns.
- Verify potentially fraudulent activity via customer outreach.
- Initiate dispute claims for confirmed fraudulent transactions.
- Document and escalate suspicious activities for further review.
- Implement mitigation steps to minimize financial risk.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in fraud detection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with fraud investigations, disputes, and/or fraud exposure.
Industry Experience:
- Prior experience in banking operations or contact center environment is preferred, along with a foundational understanding of fraud identification and prevention methods.
