Position description:

Roadside traffic attendants manually direct road traffic and pedestrian flows on, near, or adjacent to roads during road closures or part road closures due to construction, maintenance or roadside works; public events; or emergency responses using signs and devices to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and pedestrians.

Applicants must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have their own reliable transportation
  • Be able to read, write and follow direction
  • Be able to effectively communicate and work within a team environment
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
