Primary Purpose
Responsible for facilitating a safe working environment for employees. Guard the personnel and property of Mountaire Farms against fire, theft, damage and destruction, pilferage, and/or malicious injury.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Protecting Mountaire Farms personnel and property, including patrolling areas from a fixed station, on foot or by vehicle.
- Control authorized access to company buildings and company property.
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations that may require working long hours and additional days as assigned by the Security and Plant Services Manager or his/her designee.
- Must be able to work in all elements of weather and temperatures, walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 2-3 hours at a time).
- Follow all Company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, as well as support the Goal Zero mission statement. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational and safety needs.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement or relevant military experience is required.
- Acceptable Driving Record based on Mountaire's Non-Commercial Vehicle Policy and the ability to meet Mountaire Farms' requirements to operate a Company vehicle.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
