Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, Public Sector (Federal)As a Senior Pre‑Sales Solution Consultant, Public Sector (Federal) you'll serve as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to our prospective and existing customers in the state, local, and higher‑education field. You'll help them fight fraud and unlock access by demonstrating the power of Socure's identity verification and fraud prevention solutions.This role blends product expertise, consultative selling, and technical strategy. You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, Data Science, and Customer Success to ensure clients understand the value of our solutions and experience a seamless technical journey from evaluation through adoption.What You'll DoAct as the technical lead during the sales cycle—understanding client needs and mapping them to Socure's solutionsLead discovery, solutioning, technical workshops, and Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) design in collaboration with Sales and Data ScienceDeliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholdersCollaborate cross‑functionally to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with client goals and expectationsAdvise clients using deep domain expertise in identity verification, fraud risk, compliance, and/or regulated industriesInfluence product development by sharing market feedback and insights with Product and Engineering teamsContribute to thought leadership and marketing efforts—whitepapers, webinars, blogs, and customer storiesServe as a mentor to junior Solution Consultants and help build best practices for the teamWhat You'll Bring6+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years in professional services, solutions engineering, or technical consultingTrack record of success in supporting enterprise SaaS sales, particularly with data‑driven or ML‑enabled platformsStrong technical acumen: familiarity with APIs, cloud‑based platforms, RDBMS, ML/DS concepts, etc.Expertise in risk, fraud, or compliance domains—particularly within financial services, fintech, gaming, or wirelessComfort translating technical concepts into business value for C‑level and technical stakeholders alikeExperience working with fraud analytics, decisioning systems, threshold optimization, or swap set analysisKnowledge of key regulatory frameworks: FCRA, ECOA, GLBA, BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.Excellent communication skills—both verbal and writtenBachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative discipline preferred—or equivalent experienceSocure is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all its forms within our company.
