What You'll Do
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, including signs, cones, barricades, message boards, and other work zone equipment.
  • Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through construction zones.
  • Assist with roadway and parking lot pavement marking operations.
  • Operate and maintain traffic control and striping equipment.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues in the field.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work as part of a team to deliver safe, high-quality roadway projects.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding work.
  • Willingness to work overtime, travel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Traffic control, pavement marking, construction, landscaping, or related experience is a plus.
