Security Officer
Job Description
Maintains and records incoming radio calls on a radio log. Receives public and team member inquiries in person or by telephone in a polite and professional manner. Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of skill in the use of radio codes, signals and call letters or numbers used by Dakota Sioux Casino Security department. Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of policies and procedures of the Dakota Sioux Casino Security department and the Security operations manual; includes confidentiality. Dispatch officers by radio, telephone or in person. Maintains files and memorandums. Monitors the clocking in and out of all team members. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work irregular hours. Dependable and punctual. Must be physically fit and able to lift 40+ lbs. Must complete all security certifications within one year of hire in accordance with the gaming commissions rules and regulations. Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.
