Duties

Help

Cleans and maintains a safe work area.

Loads and unloads work on skids, table, machines, and/or trucks by hand, electric truck, or wheeled table; checks loads against delivery receipts.

Packs for shipments.

Read instructions; contact label makers; select cartons; wrap, label, and seal bands; count and number cartons; skid cartons; record information in log, write out sign packing slip; turns in slips with jackets and distribution list to check.

Operates, inspects, and maintains disintegrator and baler equipment, making necessary repairs and adjustments.

Operates production machines, including hand banding, automatic boxing, and automatic paper jogging equipment, to process materials.

Inspects, uses gauges, and collates classified materials.
