We are committed to protecting the people of Louisiana with integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the rights and dignity of all.This is an opportunity to become part of a dedicated team supporting public safety, working in a correctional facility where professionalism, resilience, and teamwork are essential.Serving as an ARDC Specialist for the offenders assigned in a parish jail facility, local detention facility or work release in West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Parishes, and the offender population of LSP.Louisiana State Penitentiary (LSP) is the state's only Class 1A facility and the only correctional facility providing custody and control of adult male inmates who have been sentenced to death.Why work for DOC?
