The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to take on a pivotal role in leading and managing the legal and risk management function. This senior position requires a strategic and experienced legal professional with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a minimum of 10 years' progressive legal experience, particularly in the energy, renewables, infrastructure, or related sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal activities, including commercial transactions, project development, M&A, and project finance. Key responsibilities for the Deputy General Counsel include serving as the primary legal advisor on complex and business-critical issues, providing strategic legal guidance, and driving continuous improvement of legal operations. The role also involves leading, mentoring, and developing a team of legal professionals, as well as managing external counsel relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, be a recognized subject matter expert in legal matters, and possess the executive presence and credibility to represent the legal function effectively.Applicants for the Deputy General Counsel position at the company should be adept at modeling the company's values and have a strong ability to manage legal projects independently.
