This short-term, high-impact engagement focuses on restoring and optimizing the integrity of the QERTS environment by identifying, analyzing, and resolving existing system issues while providing expert guidance on QERTS processes and best practices.The successful candidate will leverage extensive QERTS experience to troubleshoot complex database and workflow issues, improve data quality, and ensure the system accurately supports weapons surveillance, quality evaluation, and reporting activities. This role requires an individual who can work independently, collaborate with program stakeholders, and provide practical solutions within a highly regulated national security environment.Responsibilities:Serve as the subject matter expert for the Quality Evaluation Requirements Tracking System (QERTS).Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve existing QERTS data, workflow, and configuration issues.Investigate and correct system errors while ensuring data integrity and traceability.Review quality evaluation requirements, surveillance records, and workflow processes for accuracy and completeness.Support users in identifying root causes of recurring system issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.Collaborate with program personnel to improve QERTS processes and documentation.Develop recommendations for system improvements, process efficiencies, and long-term maintenance.Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal personnel responsible for ongoing QERTS administration.Document findings, corrective actions, and recommendations to support future operations.RequirementsActive DOE Q Clearance.Demonstrated experience serving as a QERTS Subject Matter Expert.Strong understanding of QERTS workflows, data structure, and quality evaluation processes.Experience identifying and resolving database, workflow, and data integrity issues within QERTS.Ability to independently analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work full-time on-site at Los Alamos National Laboratory.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or National Laboratory programs.Familiarity with weapons surveillance, stockpile evaluation, quality assurance, or production operations.Experience supporting system optimization, data cleanup, or process improvement initiatives.Experience training or mentoring system users and administrators.Travel:0%The expected base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000 USD per year.
