About the Role

The Company is in search of a Deputy General Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the contract review and execution process for the entire company, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with various partners. This role requires providing legal advice on a wide range of issues, including contract law, privacy, data protection, consumer protection laws, and commercial litigation. The Deputy General Counsel will also be expected to work with and manage outside counsel, and to ensure that the company is in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Applicants for the Deputy General Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Experience in data privacy law is preferable, and a background in the technology industry is highly valued. The role demands the ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision, sound business judgment, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, be a member of at least one US state bar, and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
