Title: Security Dispatcher - 2nd shiftRequisition ID#: 4057Location: Oak Grove, KY, 42262Property: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & HotelPay Range: 16.50Job SummaryDispatch Officers at Oak Grove will help maintain a safe and secure environment for all patrons and employees over 3 shifts.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets within the gaming environment.Ensure the dispatch office remains clean, organized, and professional at all times.Manage visitor and vendor registration, check‑in, and access control processes.Receive, screen, and professionally direct all incoming internal and external telephone communications.Accurately document all incidents, escorts, service requests, and relevant activities in the iTrak reporting system.Continuously monitor and respond to all security radio traffic.Coordinate and accurately record security officer dispatches, assignments, breaks, and meal periods.Perform mobile vehicle patrol duties as needed.Carry out all duties and responsibilities of a Security Officer when not assigned to the dispatch function.Other DutiesOther duties as assigned.Required Skills & AbilitiesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel, guests, and vendors.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications).Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.Adaptable and capable of quickly learning new technologies, systems, and software applications.Thorough knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual and emergency response procedures.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with computer systems, data entry, and multiple software applications.Previous experience in security dispatching, emergency dispatch, or a similar high‑volume operational role is strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience in a customer service, security, or gaming environment is highly desirable.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
