SUMMARY The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling drivers to the appropriate flights for catering. This position requires a lot of multi‑tasking and coordination in a loud and potentially warm or cold environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure proper transmission of information regarding the production program and flight program of our clients using computer software.Enter all necessary information in the computer system upon receipt of client orders (eg, email, fax) following the contractual procedures.Ensure flight after control are confirmed.Ensure business relationships with our client.Control delivery notes.Comply with safety rules and safety regulations within the company.Properly utilize and comply with all relative technology provided to complete daily functions.Follow all current and new operation procedures.Communicate to leadership if a safety risk is presented.Accommodate any job task requested by leadership.Understand and be aware of the rapidly changing work environment.Be diligent, punctual, and reliable.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma preferredPrevious experience as a dispatcher preferred but not requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to read, write, and speak in EnglishAbility to multi‑task and pay attention to detailAbility to handle stressful situations calmly and professionallyUnderstanding and ability to use and manage technological devicesMust have good attendance recordsAbility to adapt to new operating proceduresMust be aware of safety risksAbility to communicate issues and knowledge gapsAbility to handle pressure and work in a fast‑paced environmentAbility to work mornings, evenings, weekends (depending on assigned shift) and work overtime when requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
