Uniformed Unarmed Security Associate – Full Time

Starting at $18.50/hr with an increase to $20/hr after 90 days of strong attendance & performance Full Benefits + PTO

About the Role

As a Uniformed Unarmed Security Associate, you'll be a visible and reassuring presence throughout the property. You'll patrol designated areas, monitor activity, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay alert, and handle situations calmly will help foster a secure atmosphere that supports a positive shopping experience and protects company assets.

What You'll Do
  • Patrol and monitor assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Assist customers and employees by answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Observe and quickly report suspicious activity or incidents
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards
  • Support management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed
  • Serve as a friendly, professional presence for customers and employees
  • De-escalate minor conflicts with calm authority
  • Follow chain-of-command when reporting
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state-issued ID
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in security, customer service, or law enforcement
  • Basic First Aid & CPR certification
  • Familiarity with security equipment and safety procedures

  • Clear, friendly, and confident communication
  • Professional, calm conflict-resolution abilities
  • Reliability, integrity, and a customer-focused mindset
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response basics (preferred)
