GENERAL SUMMARYAs a Dispatcher, you will direct and dispatch the delivery of ready‑mix concrete for the present‑day schedule, coordinate the schedules of future orders, supervise, direct and control the work of all mixer drivers and plant personnel to ensure continuous and efficient delivery of material to all customers, promote good customer relations, and apply second‑step thinking, prioritizing and sound decision making to meet delivery deadlines.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School DiplomaMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.Basic math and computer knowledgeFamiliar with Oahu streets, highways and trafficWilling and able to work a flexible schedulePREFERRED REQUIREMENTS2 years of experience in the concrete industryBusiness or technical degreeACI Level 1 CertificationDUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinates and controls delivery of ready‑mix concrete for current days schedule.Receives orders and schedules future ready‑mix concrete deliveries.Supervises and directs the work of batch plant operators, loader operators and ready‑mix drivers.Communicates with the Concrete Operations Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment work orders are current.Utilizes all information passed from the Sales Department for maximum results.Processes and posts required information on delivery tickets to ensure accurate invoice billing.Receives and balances all transactions for COD sales.Consistently administers the Collective Bargaining Agreement.Always works safely and takes action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.Perform other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to communicate at multiple levels.Committed to a high level of customer service.Understands industry standards associated with the ready‑mix business.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.#J-18808-Ljbffr
