The technician certifies and receives SCI visitor clearances and accesses; conducts SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training on classified material and SSO‑related topics; assists with the courier badging process; obtains signed nondisclosure agreements; and provides guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned military, government, and contractor personnel. The technician develops preemptive plans for mass indoctrination and security clearance management, works closely with the government customer SSO to streamline surge capabilities, and supports mass onboarding as emergencies arise. Upon government execution of a surge requirement, the technician implements security functions and tasks identified in the contractor support plan.Essential Job DutiesAssist the Special Security Officer (SSO) and Special Security Representative (SSR) in ensuring control of access to SCI materials and SCI facilities (SCIFs).Certify and receive SCI visitor clearances and accesses in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures.Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training on classified material and SSO‑related material and topics for military, government, and contractor personnel.Assist with the courier badging process and ensure compliance with courier security requirements.Obtain signed nondisclosure agreements from personnel accessing SCI materials.Provide guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned personnel.Conduct audits of classified material to ensure accountability and compliance with security regulations.Perform inspections of classified material storage facilities, SCIFs, and containers to verify proper security measures are in place.Research and prepare classified material‑related policy and management recommendations and reports.Develop preemptive plans for mass indoctrination and security clearance management in anticipation of surge requirements.Work closely with the government customer's SSO, SPARC Security Technicians, and CMG planners to streamline surge capabilities and support mass onboarding as emergencies arise.Implement security functions and tasks identified in the contractor support plan for mass indoctrination and security clearance management upon government execution of a surge requirement.QualificationsActive TS/SCI security clearance.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience in special security, personnel security, or SCI security operations within the DoD or Intelligence Community.Demonstrated knowledge of SCI security policies, procedures, and regulations, including ICD 705 and related directives.Experience conducting security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training.Familiarity with SCI visitor clearance certification and access control procedures.Strong organizational, administrative, and record‑keeping skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.Direct experience supporting the intel community, Defense Intelligence Enterprise, or Combatant Command special security operations.Experience developing and implementing mass indoctrination and security clearance management plans.Familiarity with surge support operations and mass onboarding processes.Experience conducting audits and inspections of classified material storage facilities, SCIFs, and containers.Knowledge of courier badging processes and courier security requirements.Professional security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent).Experience working with contractor support plans and implementing security functions in support of contingency operations.Additional InformationWorking ConditionsNormal office conditions.The primary performance location for this contract will be Washington, D.C.The Government reserves the right to require contract performance at alternate locations, as dictated by mission requirements; these locations may be subject to change.Occasional travel may be required to support global engagement activities and coordination efforts.Working at SOSiAll interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.SOSi is an equal employment opportunity employer and affirmative action employer.
