You'll work at Amazon Air's Network Control Center (NCC), reporting to the ASCC Manager.The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations, intelligence analysis, incident response, or investigations. You'll lead real‑time incident coordination during security events across Amazon Air, Prime Air drone operations, and Amazon Air Cargo. You'll review security and safety incidents and elevate when needed based on your expertise and judgment, produce flash warnings and situation reports, investigate workplace violence incidents, and monitor emerging threats, applying risk management best practices to mitigate security risks and resolve critical issues that directly impact the safety of Amazon's global aviation network.You will independently identify risks, drive resolution of problems, and own process improvements to meet the ASCC's risk strategy and operational objectives. This position requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Our team of security professionals works around the clock conducting intelligence analysis, managing crisis response, and executing security operations.Assess real‑time threats to flight routes, cargo shipments, airport operations, and drone delivery sites across the globe.Coordinate crisis response for security incidents affecting Amazon Air, Prime Air drone operations, and Amazon Air Cargo.Investigate workplace violence incidents and security threats to aviation personnel and facilities, documenting findings and driving risk mitigation.Vet high‑risk customers and vendors using advanced intelligence platforms, making recommendations based on your expertise in risk‑management best practices.Monitor geopolitical events that could disrupt operations—from airspace closures to civil unrest.Enable rapid expansion by conducting threat assessments for new routes, airports, and Prime Air launch sites.Eligibility QualificationsPass DHS, TSA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection security screenings.Qualify for unescorted Airport SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) access.Have no history of DOT drug/alcohol violations or test refusals.Pass pre‑employment drug testing.Basic QualificationsExperience handling confidential information.Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks.Experience in Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management or a related field.Experience in intelligence analysis, critical incident management, commercial aviation, investigations, or drone operations.Ability to work on defined risk projects, applying risk‑management best practices and methodologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non‑technical leaders.Experience leading and defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations.2+ years of experience in security operations, incident management, or intelligence analysis with demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to improve operations.Professional certification or specialized training in investigations, security interviewing, fraud examination, or related security disciplines.Experience with intelligence analysis tools, OSINT platforms, and data analytics software (e.g., Sayari, QuickSight, SQL, Python, Tableau).Experience in a Security Operations Center environment.Experience in GIS, OSINT best practices, risk management strategies, and analytical methodology.Experience optimizing security processes and procedures.Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
