Immediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Sioux Falls, SDFull‑time, 40 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and use of Closed Circuit Television.Write incident reports.Interact with local law‑enforcement agencies as needed.Provide courtroom testimony when required.QualificationsPre‑employment criminal background and drug screen.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3–4 hours at a time.Reliable transportation.Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.Ability to write legible, accurate, and easily understood reports.Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism not tolerated.Previous loss‑prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement.High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).Criminal justice or related studies a plus.Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.Benefits$20.00 per hour.
