May involve special assignments such as EMT Coordinator, Plan Review Officer or Hazardous Materials Coordinator.PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:Previous experience in firefighting and emergency medical response is desired.EDUCATION:High School graduate or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS & TRAINING:Fire Fighter I and II and Hazardous Materials Operations certifications. Must have a State of Michigan Emergency Medical Paramedic License at time of hire. Documents must accompany the completed application. Must have a valid State of Michigan Driver's license with no serious record of misdemeanors, traffic violations, or felony record. Must have 20/20 vision or correctable to that vision level.
