Crossing Guard

Performs routine traffic control duties at crosswalks and follow established traffic control procedures to assure the safety of students and pedestrians crossing roadways. Permanent positions and substitutes are needed.

Minimum qualifications include some knowledge of local traffic laws and basic traffic safety, basic first aid, basic interpersonal communication skills, and the operation of traffic signalization equipment.
