Job Summary
Salary :
$1,110 bi-weekly
Nature of Work:
Providing in-school and after-school tutoring, mentoring, and support services in Orlando area community centers and public high schools. Focusing on math, reading, course recovery, post-secondary planning, job readiness and providing individualized and small group tutoring.
Program Information:
• Program end date: Summer 2027 (August 2026-May 2027; some positions ending July 2027)
• Required work hours: 35-40 hrs./week
• Compensation: $1,110 bi-weekly
• Benefits: Tuition Assistance, Loan Deferment, Health Insurance, Childcare Assistance
• Education Award: Up to $7,395.00
Minimum Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some post-secondary education preferred . College coursework in education, language arts, and/or mathematics helpful. Between 30 and 60 semester hours of college preferred . Bilingual(English-Spanish) helpful. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.
THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
