Entry Patrol Deputies
Are you ready to start a new career? You must be able to attend testing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. All those who successfully complete the written and physical agility tests will be invited to participate in an oral board interview the same day. To establish an eligibility list for a potential December 2026 hire, we are now accepting applications for Entry Patrol Deputies.
$31.39 per hour to start (includes.50 shift differential)
Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI)
Free in-house medical clinic (primary care, prescriptions, labs & more)
Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and extensive paid training
No need to travel for academy training. POST Basic Patrol Academy offered locally.

Do you qualify?
- Do you have at least a High School Diploma or GED? No college degree required.
- Do you have at least 24 months of work experience?
- Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver's license and be insurable?
- Are you at least 21 years old?
