Join our team of professionals who support large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology and take your career to the next level!ResponsibilitiesUse working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fieldingDevelop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integrationPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersDevelop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadershipSupport and interact daily with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and have the ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience ORMaster's degree and 12+ years of relevant experiencePossess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselinesActive Secret clearancePreferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting the Missile Defense AgencyKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesExperience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the Performance Work StatementExperience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD programExpertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and executionHow you'll growAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
