Sr Acquisitions Analyst KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This role leads operational and logistics analysis product delivery for Air Mobility Command (AMC) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) on the Next Generation Airlift (NGAL) weapon system modernization initiative. The incumbent will develop NGAL mission‑need analysis products, capability models, and requirements artifacts that support the identification, evaluation, and selection of NGAL alternatives to inform government‑led acquisition decisions.Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary KBR lead for NGAL programmatic, systems engineering, and strategic planning efforts.Oversee and perform NGAL operational analysis, ensuring compliance with DoD, Air Force, AMC, and AFLCMC policies and regulations.Drive comprehensive research and rigorous analysis to deliver products that inform NGAL Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Joint Force Requirements Process (JFRP) documentation.Synchronize AMC Mission Area requirements to enable precise representation and integration into core capability documents.Coordinate with cross‑organizational teams, including Air Staff, MAJCOM headquarters, Systems Program Office, and operational stakeholders, to ensure program objectives are met.Leverage acquisition expertise to deliver draft AoA, JFRP, and System Attributes and Requirements Document (SARD) documentation.Monitor analysis progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Prepare and present detailed analysis results, summaries, and status reports to senior AMC leadership and stakeholders.Location On‑site at Scott AFB, ILTravel Requirements Moderate (20‑50%)Working Hours StandardRequired Qualifications Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Experience executing and managing DoW Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) activities.Minimum of 15 years of experience in military acquisition requirements generation and management of DoW acquisition programs.In‑depth knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and regulations.Understanding of the DoD Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Program processes.MAJCOM experience in A5/A8 or equivalent.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.Desired Qualifications Master's degree.20+ years of experience in military acquisition requirements generation and management of DoW acquisition programs.Three or more years of experience in Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC).Three or more years of experience in SAF/AQ, HAF/A5, and/or HAF/A8.Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process and documentation.Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification in Program Management at Advanced or equivalent.Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and AFLCMC policies, processes, and procedures.EEO Statement KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
