OverviewImmediate Opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Sioux Falls, SDResponsibilitiesIdentify and apprehension of shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TVReport writingInteracting with local law enforcement agencies as neededProvide court room testimony as requiredAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.Full time 40 hours per week$20.00 per hour / Insurance / 401k / PTOJob RequirementsPre-Employment criminal background and drug screenAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate and easily understood reportsMust be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontationMust be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not toleratedPrevious loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirementHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Criminal Justice or related studies a plusThis is an immediate opening.
