A courier and warehousing company with more than 30 years in business is looking for a professional, customer-focused Dispatcher to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a challenging, dynamic environment and enjoys being at the center of fast-paced operations.
What You'll Do- Track orders to ensure delivery times and service standards are met
- Build rapport with customers and drivers, serving as the lead liaison for the fleet
- Apply critical thinking to maintain efficiency and accuracy in daily operations
- Provide excellent customer service throughout every interaction
- Offer insight and feedback to ensure expectations are consistently met
- Valid driver's license
- 2 years of prior customer service experience
- Positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of the Richmond area
- Prior dispatch experience
- Paid time off (after 6 months)
