    Dispatcher Position Overview


    Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and efficient Dispatcher to join their client's dynamic team in California. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in managing communication and coordination between callers and field personnel, ensuring timely and effective response to both emergency and non-emergency situations.


    Responsibilities


    • Receiving and Processing Calls:

      Answer incoming calls (emergency and non-emergency), collect necessary information, and prioritize calls based on urgency and nature.

    • Communicating with Field Units:

      Use various communication methods (radio, phone, etc.) to relay information to field personnel, such as work orders, instructions, and updates.

    • Dispatching Resources:

      Coordinate the deployment of personnel, vehicles, or equipment to specific locations based on requests, schedules, or emergency situations.

    • Monitoring and Tracking:

      Monitor the status of field units, deliveries, or services, and maintain records of calls and dispatched resources.

    • Route Planning:

      Use mapping software to plan the most efficient routes for vehicles, considering factors like traffic and weather.

    • Problem Solving:

      Address problems, resolve conflicts, and provide support to both customers and field personnel.

    • Documentation:

      Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatched units, and relevant information in logs or dispatching software.



    Requirements


    Available to work various shifts as needed throughout the week, including Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

    Additional Details


    The minimum pay for this position is $18 per hour.
