Dispatcher
Our client, a leader in logistics and transportation services, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher, you will be part of the Dispatch Operations supporting the logistics and delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Missouri City, TX
Pay Range: $17-18
What's the Job?
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities, including assigning routes and scheduling drivers
- Communicate delivery or service assignments clearly to drivers and field personnel
- Monitor route progress and provide real-time support for delays or issues
- Adjust schedules and dispatch plans as needed to maintain service levels
- Track driver availability, route completion, and performance metrics
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or administrative support preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and dispatch/routing systems
