    Dispatcher

    Location: Fort Lauderdale

    What You'll Be Doing

    As a Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Coordinating and scheduling inbound vendor deliveries and outbound customer orders using our company fleet.
    • Managing driver schedules and delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and meet service level commitments.
    • Verifying shipping documentation to align with customer requirements and expectations.
    • Monitoring driver logs and vehicle data to maintain full DOT compliance.
    • Communicating with customers regarding delivery inquiries and resolving any service-related concerns.
    • Organizing and coordinating pickups from local vendors.
    • Collaborating with operations to ensure smooth outbound shipments and internal transfers, adhering to company standards.

    You may be a great fit for this role if you meet the following qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience (industrial supply industry preferred).
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Proven ability to manage logistics while ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Strong communication skillsprofessional, clear, and courteous in both written and verbal formats.
    • Detail-oriented, especially in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
    • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company and customer information.
    • Comfortable working with internal departments, drivers, vendors, and customers alike.
