Under the general supervision of the Director of Emergency & Women's Services, ED Medical Director, ED Physician, and/or Registered Nurse (RN), the Paramedic is responsible for the provision of care for assigned ED patients. This employee has access to medication storage areas,may receive, deliver, store and administer certain medications as specifically listed. The Paramedic participates with the RN and medical provider in planning, coordinating, and implementing plan of care to ensure quality, appropriateness, timeliness, professionalism, and effectiveness of service rendered.
Formal Education: Vocational or other technical school, certification, training or apprenticeship required beyond high school
Work Experience: 1 year to < 2 years
