Shift: M-F 40 hours a week/8 hour shifts ,3p-11p

For this New York United States-based position, the expected base pay is $29.00 to $32.00/HR based on experience

As a Paramedic with YesCare, your responsibilities include:

• Patient Assessment and Care:

• Perform medical assessments for inmate-patients in various settings, including:

• Initial intake

• Healthcare units for sick calls

• Emergency situations in housing units

• Chronic care clinics

• Infirmary

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify normal and abnormal adult health statuses.

• Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care prior to the arrival of external emergency services and transportation.

• Documentation and Communication:

• Accurately document all medical care in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.

• Communicate assessment data and healthcare information effectively to the healthcare team, both verbally and in writing.

• Evaluate and document patient responses to treatment plans and interventions.

• Teamwork and Scheduling:

• Collaborate with the nursing team to manage schedule changes and requests for time off:

• Submit vacation or time-off requests prior to schedule postings.

• Arrange workday exchanges with team members within the same pay period.

• Notify the Charge Nurse or RN Supervisor in writing for approval of any schedule changes.
