    What You'll Do:

    Dispatch ready mix concrete in a timely manner. Provide effective customer service and dispatch support by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs, as well as fellow team members within the Customer Service and Dispatch departments.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Dispatch orders in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Communicate with drivers and direct them to delivery locations.
    • Work directly with surrounding areas to better service customers by utilizing multiple plants and look to share trucks.
    • Ability to multitask and stay focused while dealing with various contractors, salespeople, dispatchers, and other personnel.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Basic computer and data entry skills for entering orders.
    • Knowledge of Owatonna and surrounded areas.
    • Communicate in a positive and helpful manner with a variety of customers.
    • Ability to read and understand maps.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Three to five years' related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
    • Must be able to perform basic math, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to apply basic computer skills.

    Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
