    The Town of Jackson, Wyoming, Street Operator/Collection System Technician in the Public Works Department $29.82 - $33/hr or $62,025 - $68,640 annually DOQ, full-time, full benefits, year-round, position. This is an excellent opportunity for a value centered, team-oriented professional. Opportunities are provided for selected applicant without experience or required licenses for on-the-job training for a long-term career in public service.

    The Town of Jackson is seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our team in this critical infrastructure position. The primary duties include cleaning, maintaining, repairing and monitoring of the wastewater collection lines and system, operation of the sewer jet, and snow removal operations in the winter months.     Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School graduation or equivalent, a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (or ability to obtain within 2 months), and a Level II DEQ Wastewater Collection License (or ability to obtain within 18 months).

    A $7500 signing/longevity bonus is provided over 3 years. If hired at the Street Operator/Collection System Technician level, Operators are eligible to advance in position and compensation to Equipment Operator/Collection System Operator up to Senior Equipment Operator/Senior Collection System Operator with an additional 4.5% increase in addition to annual wage increases with each advancement.

    This position has full benefits offered by the Town of Jackson currently including health, vision and dental insurance, premiums paid 100%, HSA matching contributions, government retirement benefits, $1000 deferred compensation match, and Paid Time Off (PTO), which covers vacation, sick and holidays with up front paid leave.

    This position is included in the federally mandated DOT-FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program which includes pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident and random drug testing.
