Crossing Guard Position

Arlington Heights School District 25 is looking for reliable people 18 years or older to work as crossing guards for the 2025-26 school year. Salary: Starting salary is $21.33 per hour. No benefits available. Job Summary: Control traffic with the assistance of a hand-held stop sign issued by the District. Maintain full authority and responsibility for directing student traffic at the intersection or crossing. Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct. Applicants who are offered a position will be required to affirm that they are not disqualified from employment for these reasons and to authorize this review.
