We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities. Manage system-level cybersecurity programs: oversee RMF lifecycle activities, control implementation, continuous monitoring, and accreditation evidence. Review and validate security documentation, system security plans (SS - Ps), control implementation statements, POA&Ms, and configuration baselines to assess residual risk. Coordinate with system owners, engineers, ISS - Ms, assessors, and integrators to remediate control deficiencies and maintain authorization posture. Advise leadership on risk acceptance, compliance obligations, and remediation prioritization; prepare briefing materials for authorization and governance boards.
