Summary
Assist in the development and maintenance of the agencys comprehensive emergency plans. Train agency staff and community partners on preparedness activities and procedures. Conduct rapid impact assessments and coordinate appropriate response actions. Ensure alignment of health and medical plans with local emergency management plans by using standardized criteria and tools provided by the Division of Emergency Preparedness and Community Support. Serve as a liaison between the Health Department and ESF-8 supporting agencies, including community partners and public health stakeholders. Participate actively as a member of the Region 5 Central Florida Disaster Medical Coalition. Prepare After-Action Reports and develop corresponding corrective action plans. Provide assistance in planning, training, and conducting exercises with EMS, Emergency Management, Haz.
