Job Description
This is a PART-TIME position with the following hours:
- Two shifts per week, and every other weekend. The hours are 12pm - 8pm on the weekends. Hours are subject to change
Pay is $17.17/hour.
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Guard to join our security team in Red Wing, MN. As a Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or hazardous situations
- Prepare and maintain security logs, reports, and records of daily activities and incidents
- Conduct regular inspections of security devices and equipment to ensure proper functioning (Boiler, Fire Safety System)
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs in multi-story buildings
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring security systems
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols preferred
- Ability to work in Red Wing, United States; familiarity with the local area is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
